Update: Archive of presentation online
Update 2: Presentation Source Files
Last night I presented an online session on how to create a Flash shoutbox powered by PHP/MySQL. I took the time to explain the entire process, how to set it up and how to build on it past the basics.
The archive of the presentation will be online soon and once it is I will add a link for others to enjoy/benefit from. I will also be uploading all of the code used in the presentation to follow along with and extend past the basic implementation.
A nice little fact about last nights meeting: It was the largest attendance.
This was my second presentation at LA Flash online, my first one being a video on the Tween Class in Flash 8.
The next time I present I will be sure to add some advanced notice for others to view.
All sorts of news from the west coast. Early December Delphi released a web application for the SKYFi 3 that I had developed and now it has been extended to the kiosk for trade shows. This was a great honor and one I wasn’t even aware of when I developed the demo.
Here is a photo of the Delphi Kiosk
