The Flash and PHP bible is a book that is coming soon, which will be a complete guide on how to use PHP with Flash.
.. but that isn’t the big news… the BIG news is, I am the author!!!
It will cover all the topics surrounding Flash and PHP:
Real World Applications, Debugging and Security to name a few.
With applications to include:
Contact Forms, Custom Shopping Carts, Video Players and Chat clients etc..
Still a lot of work to be done, but I have to say the experience has been awesome and I look forward to many more in the future.
I will post more info as it is made available, and it is already available for pre-order on Amazon.com
Well NBC decides to leave iTunes, roll there own video player and then thinks a non cross-browser/os applciation is going to take off?
Then to top it off they used Windows Media Player to distribute the video? I am going to pass on this one even though I do have the PC if needed.
They could have used Flash/AIR and created a great app, but instead you get this:

Foamee helps track who you owe beers to (and vice versa)
Learn how (need a Twitter account, but who doesn’t have one of those)
This is a pretty neat concept built by Dan of SimpleBits.
Go check it out and start sending beers.
Lee Brimlow has developed a fully interactive 3D browser using Adobe AIR and Papervision3D. The app surprisingly runs very smooth on my Mac and overall is very cool.

I hope to get some free time soon to work with PV3D but for now I just look at the cool apps being built with it.
I just noticed that Apple has lowered the cost of iTunes Plus songs to the standard 99¢. This is a very interesting step forward in Apple proving that DRM is a waste of money and time. All it really does is hurts legitimate users that really like technology and have something like 10 devices that actively play Mp3’s.
Now if we can just get the RIAA to focus on good music and stop blaming the decline of sales on piracy, when it is obviously the crap they produce.

Check out the iTunes Plus page (will open iTunes)
