Pownce is an up and coming social network where you can send files to friends, post notes to the public and store content (pro account). At the moment it is in beta but I happen to have a few invite codes and would be more than happy to pass one along (if I still have it available).
Just leave a comment and I will be sure to send one along.. make sure you provide a valid email address when posting ( no need to put your email in the post )
Bonus, there is an AIR application to send notes from your desktop.
Adobe has released a CS3 Update which now offers the ability to build AIR applications in Flash CS3. Now is the time, start developing some sweet AIR applications!
The Adobe® Integrated Runtime (AIR) update for Flash® CS3 beta 1 software will allow you to package and preview .air application files directly within Adobe Flash CS3; leveraging your existing Flash development skills to build desktop-enabled distributed applications and experiences with the Adobe AIR™ framework.

Adobe has indeed talked about compiler support for CS3 however it isn’t available at the moment. Well Grant (gskinner) Skinner has developed an AIRCompiler for CS3. It is (as he mentions) a little difficult to get running, but once you do you can compile and test AIR applications inside Flash CS3. Hats off to gskinner for putting this one together.
Adobe just announced the Flex 3 and Adobe AIR betas which can both be downloaded from the Adobe Lab. This is a big thing since it seemed like Apollo (now AIR) was slowing down but this should change that quickly.

If you happen to have an app you would like to show off head on over to CodeApollo and post it. Once I get some free time I will post up some examples and some articles on Scriptplayground.
Once again here is the download links: Adobe AIR, Flex 3 and Flash Player 9 Update
