All sorts of news from the west coast. First up my friend sent this image to me from CES in Las Vegas where my Delphi Flash Demo is being displayed on a kiosk for attendees to see/experience first hand. Early December Delphi released a web application for the SKYFi 3 that I had developed and now it has been extended to the kiosk for trade shows. This was a great honor and one I wasn’t even aware of when I developed the demo.

Next up on news from the west coast comes the announcement of the iPhone from San Francisco MacWorld. This phone will be available in June which means my current Nokia will have to survive a few more months… hopefully it will.

mkeefeDESIGN recently completed an interactive demo for the Delphi SKYFi3 portable XM radio. Using Flash 8 and Photoshop side-by-side made it very easy to develop this project.
The Flash demo offers the user to experience the entire radio with the exception of recording and playing songs. The demo sits inside of a presentation layer where Flash was also used to create a learning module for a viewer to learn about the SKYFi3 first hand.
Flash video was used to explain how the user interacts with their computer and the SKYFi3, for such tasks as playlist and mp3 management. XML was used to store the channel and song data. This portion has the ability to be live data such as what is found in the Pioneer Inno Flash Demo that was developed for XM411.com earlier this year.
