History Regarding This Project
This project was originally started by a fellow CAFE Member. He has been missing since May, and people started to wonder whether their time was wasted. Myself included.
I began thinking of ways that I might be able to continue this project. I thought of using DeviantART, and a few other free sites to host the content, but then I thought It would be cool to add a few more features if I built a real site.
What is DPC (Design A Playing Card)
After looking on different web-sites about playing cards on which I saw cards with football players, I was thinking about creating something unique from other playing cards.
Don't you ever get bored of playing those plain cards?
The idea is to draw 54 playing cards using various drawing and image editing programs (Photoshop, Illustrator). There is 54 cards.
The Goal
Its simple! Push the boundaries of digital art and make something interesting and the most important thing is to meet other artists around the world through this web-site. |
